To answer you we process the name you enter, the content of your messages and — where you provide one, or where nobody is available and we need a way back to you — your email address. For security and abuse prevention we also record the IP address, browser identification, time zone and language setting of the request.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and in operating the service securely, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Conversations are stored in our editorial system and deleted once they are no longer required, at the latest after three years. Providing the information is voluntary; without a name and, where applicable, an email address, we cannot reply.
